Meet Bonsile from Swaziland

Bonsile is an extremely hard working woman who is happy to share her skills and ideas with other women. After school she decided to learn to become a seamstress and started her own business designing children’s clothing. After realizing that in order to sell she needs a unique product she would buy scraps from the local textile factories and create her own unique designs. Bonsile came to work for Quazi in 2010 as a seamstress at the age of 34 and within a few months mastered all techniques. She supports four people on her salary and on top of that pays school fees for three children. Having learnt traditional mat making from her mother she has passed on her hand craft skills to her children. She is a true believer in sharing skills and women supporting each other. “to teach each other is the besy way to support each other”
